The Stages of Memory: Reflections on Memorial Art, Loss and the Spaces Between
James Young is a distinguished university professor of English and Judaic Stydies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He served on the design selection committee for the Berlin Holocaust Memorial and was a member of the jury of NYC's September 11 Memorial Design Competition.
