In terms of Provincial Heritage Resources Authority Guateng (PHRA-G)

The school St David’s Marist Brothers, Inanda, intend to demolish some existing structures on Erf 94, Inanda, in the form of remnants of an altered staff quarters, garage, workshop space and additional staff accommodation.  Thereafter, they intend to build a new boarding facility to accommodate 40 boarders and 4 staff families on the school campus, in what is to be a consolidated boarding precinct.

In order to undertake this demolition, they are required to submit an application for a Section 34 permit from the Provincial Heritage Resources Authority Gauteng. We have therefore applied for an exemption of the Section 38 approval process and approval under a Section 34 approval process.
