West Rand Heritage Consultants, being the authorized agent for the owners hereby give notice that they intend to conduct a Level 1 Heritage Impact Assessment of the OLD RAILWAY STATION ON PORTION 68 OF ERF 1568 at the corner of Peperboom and Voortrekker Street, Heidelberg in terms of Section 38 of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999, and to apply to the Gauteng Provincial Heritage Resources Authority for a permit in terms of Section 34(1) of the same act for the compatible re-use of some of the buildings on the site for museum purposes.
