Swellendam Heritage Association are very privileged to have Dr Kay De Villiers come especially to address our society on Ms. Emily Hobhouse and our own M.E.Rothman. Dr De Villiers is of course a mine of information on various topics and an authority on the Boer War in particular. It was with regard to this war that Emily Hobhouse, an English woman, became so involved over the issue of the concentration camps. We are certain you will enjoy this informative talk.
