The National Institute for Humanities and Social Sciences created the exhibition, hosted here by the School of Humanities, Sol Plaatje University.
The exhibition focuses on South Africa in the period 1952 to 1966, with particular emphasis on the police raid on Liliesleaf and the subsequent Rivonia Trial. It also uses the Freedom Charter as a vehicle to spark conversations about freedom, democracy and social justice.
