Please join me for my first JHF virtual tour and talk on Saturday 4th September at 2pm (costs and booking details below). I’ll be exploring Jeppe and Belgravia’s early history along with fascinating heritage buildings, houses, schools, churches, theatres and stores. The area has one of the highest concentration of pre-1900 structures in Johannesburg. There will also be story of the railway line that cuts through the suburb (and the odd building).
