I am a researcher in Johannesburg and have been asked to find some information on a man called George Williams Rogers who I believe was the mayor of Brakpan in the year 1921/1922. I am told that Rogers Street in Brakpan is named after him. Can anyone suggest a source where I might find some information on him and his time as the mayor.
