Few cities can claim as varied and tumultuous a history as Johannesburg, and that all in a very short 130 years. To celebrate our 130th anniversary, the Foundation has arranged a never to be repeated retrospective of 13 decades, encompassing architecture, social history and a glimpse into the future.
The tour encompasses the mining camp, the British colonial city, the 30’s metropolis and post-war modernism and ends surrounded by the cranes of the ever burgeoning Sandton skyline.
Included in the price is a sumptuous picnic lunch on the lawns of Northwards.
