Although Fish Hoek's centenary falls on 24 April 2018, there will be a range of events spread across the year courtesy a multitude of organisations such as this Historical Association. This is an appeal to selected members and friends to contribute ideas regarding what the Heritage Sector (ie the Association, the Museum and school history classes/Junior Historians) could consider doing to celebrate Fish Hoek's centenary year in 2018.

That is over and above the Association's annual events schedule which kicks off with the AGM in February 2018. We could for example offer guided or self-guided walks and publish leaflets on selected historical attractions.

The ideas will be placed in a pot for consideration. The Exco and a handful of stakeholders will consider them ito relevance and feasibility, for example.
