The society started in 1988 with a small group of people interested in genealogy and in particular “family history” i.e. not only the genealogical links between the various family members, but rather the actual history of the family, including personalities, achievements, interactions, etc. The society grew with enthusiasm and published its first journal in 1990 which is now published quartely.
