The Centre for Indian Studies in Africa (CISA) presents a talk by Emery Patrick Effiboley, Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Centre for the Creative Arts of Africa/Wits Art Museum. For a few decades, the concept of decolonisation has become a clarion call in the academic discourse. In this presentation, Effiboley will discuss what the concept of decolonization means in terms of collections and collecting, presentations and communication of the knowledge produced in Africa’s museum context.
