My great grandfather, Law Maurice, opened a dental practice in Graaff-Reinet in 1879. I have attached a newspaper advertisement, one of many he placed at the time. I'm hoping there may be someone from the community who could help me find more information about his brief time there. He worked for a Dr. Stroud, a surgeon Dentist who practiced in Port Elizabeth. My great grandfather apparently operated a "mobile" dentistry service for him prior to coming to Australia. It seems he may have stayed at Mrs. Dawes' Boarding House in Market Square.
Any help you could provide either by way of photos or information would be most welcomed and appreciated.
