The Friends of the East London Museum are hosting a Shipwreck Saturday on 5 August 2023. The programme includes a talk in the museum gallery by Jonathan Bals titled Shipwrecks along the Eastern Cape, plus Oceanos survivors sharing their experiences at the Lifeboat.
For the children we have 'Treasure Island' Immersive Theatre by Joy of Books with two shows at 10:30 and at 11:30.
Entrance fee R20 for all and Evolve Cafe will be open serving street food.
