Ellerman House is offering an exceptional opportunity, exclusively to Culture Connect, for an evening of art and dinner on 30 September and 07 October from 18:00 to 21:15.

This is one of South Africa’s top boutique luxury hotels; many say its South African art collection is one of the best in terms of its breadth and depth. The story of South African art history is told through a journey around the hotel, garden and gallery. This is honestly a rare opportunity for art lovers, especially as the hotel is currently closed. The cost is R1 950 per person.

We start with canapes and Brut, then enjoy a tour of the phenomenal art collection, led by Talita Swarts – one of the country’s top art guides who has been giving the tours at Ellerman House for many years. We’ll then have a sit down dinner in the contemporary Wine Gallery, an artwork in itself.

Space is very limited – each night is 12 guests only and 7 October is almost full, so please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to attend.
