The talk will illustrate examples of some selected Post Office buildings of the mid 1930's in the Eastern Cape, including Qumbu, Seymour, Tsomo, Dordrecht, Burgersdorp and Elliotdale and will focus on the tiled panels, the techniques, their varied subject matter and the artists themselves. Various Post Offices from other provinces will however also be showcased.
