The Krause Street Primary School (Task Academy), stand 5/91-IR, is to be sold on auction on the 6th of July. According to the auctioneers, development rights are in place for 118 residential units. Click here to view auction notice.

The CoJ’s Strategic Area Framework does not provide for densification on this particular stand so it is difficult to understand how development rights could be in place.

It is believed that the school dates from 1894 and that it forms part of a cluster of significant religious and institutional buildings.
