Departs Meerhof Lodge at 08h00 on Sunday 6 May (please arrive from 07h30). Returns to Meerhof Lodge 17h30. Andre Wedepohl will lead the tour. Stop in Rustenburg at Kedar Lodge on Paul Kruger’s farm Boekenhoutfontein with visit to Paul Kruger Boer War Museum.

Route: Meerhof Lodge (1 Dr Kolbe Lane, Meerhof, Hartebeespoort) to Kedar Heritage Lodge (Boekenhoutfontein, north of Rustenburg) via the Silkaatsnek and Buffelspoort battlefields. After lunch at Kedar (cost not included in fee for tour), the bus will travel back to Meerhof Lodge via the Olifantsnek and Nooitgedacht battlefields. Military historian Andre Wedepohl will speak on the bus about all four battles, and will also provide additional information about the South African War.
