With regards to the find on Pansy beach which I presume is a shipwreck and which was published in the Mossel Bay Advertiser recently, I was interested to find out if it is the King Cenric so I went back today and located the position of the King Cenric and can confirm that the one I found is not the King Cenric.

Video footage showing the remains of the King Cenric sticking out of the water match what I photographed today and I can confirm that both the Rosebud and King Cenric lie in line with the Diaz beach car park and are very close to each other. The find I came across is quite a distance further south on Pansy beach. Furthermore, the King Cenric measured approximately 6 meters across from port to starboard. The one I  found measure approximately 8 meters. Futhermore the one I found has heavy cast or wrought iron which must have been fitted to reinforce the hull.

So the question now to be answered is what ship was it and when was it wrecked?

It appears to not have been listed as a shipwreck in this area yet it is there. I am pretty confident that it is the remains of a ship which appears to somehow not have been chartered when it was wrecked.
