Lecturer sought to present on Rijk Tulbagh, the enigmatic Dutch governor of the Cape, associated with a chair, a set of laws and a little town in the Boland. HASA are looking for someone to do some research and present on this topic for 15 to 25 minutes on the 6th October.  This will be part of the annual four day heritage symposium held by the Heritage Association of South Africa and hosted this year in Tulbagh. The event is timed to be part of the towns 50th anniversary celebrations of the 1969 earthquake which  put the Tulbagh on the map again. Accommodation and costs would be provided for.
