It is proposed to develop the site of the Berea Park Sports Club in Pretoria, comprising the properties known as Erven 2218, 2219, 2220, 2221, 2222, and RE/2375, Township of Pretoria, and the Remaining Extent of Portion 352 (Portion of Portion 9) and Remainder of Portion 355, Farm Elandspoort 357.

The development proposal provides for the construction of offices and ancillary facilities for the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform. 

The findings and recommendations from an assessment of the potential impact of the proposed development on heritage resources are contained in a report dated 5 September 2017, compiled by Heritage Resources Management in association with Henry Paine + Partners.
