I've been doing some research for Stanford Uni recently, and one project concerns this Bryanston house. It still stands but the entrance is now on North Ave. I spoke to the current owner and he mentioned there was an article with photos. Click here to view.

It turns out this property was once owned/rented by Millard Shirley in the 1950s. He was the man who provided the SAP with information that led to Mandela's arrest in 1962. He was SA-born but a CIA agent.

After I tracked down the house by much luck, it came up on a letting agent's sit. The next stroke of luck is the photos in the rticle of the same house.

I'm also trying to find out who Wendy Lydall is and where these photos come from. It looks like they photographed them from another album.

Does anyone from the community have any info I could use to track these photos down?
