You are invited to the Border Historical Society's illustrated virtual talk for the month of September 2021. The talk will be held via Google Meet. Dr Patrick Hutchison will be presenting the results of some of his most recent research and actual findings from field trips in the Transkei.

The talk is titled: Presbyterians in Xhosaland: from Lovedale to Tutura. A brief review of the Glasgow Mission Society and the United Free Church of Scotland's advance into the Transkei.

Dr Hutchison is a Doctor and General Practitioner in East London, with a long standing interest in the history of the Transkei and has a substantial reference library relating to the history of the Eastern Cape.

The talk will be held on Tuesday 21 September 2021 at 19.00
